What is the Morton Salt Report?

The Morton Salt Report, begun several years ago as an email circle, is an irreverent yet unfailingly accurate report of the trials and tribulations of oceanswimming SCAQers over the course of each Southern Californian summer. We bring you the sights (via the Handsome Men in Speedos and Other Photos Series) and sounds of the races – from trashtalking prior to the race to the milkshake and beer chugging afterwards. If you want accuracy, please go the official SCAQ results website (as usual, I cannot believe I said that). If you have compliments, please send them to me. If you have complaints, please send them straight to Clay Evans at the SCAQ Office! No doubt, he'll handle and respect your views just like he does when you question one of his sets. If you're new to the Morton Salt Report, and want to make sure your results are reported, all bribes are gratefully accepted! Higher bribes result in slightly more accurate results (correlation=0.3).
